SWIM IN FRESH
WATERFALL LAGOON

Klongchao Waterfall transfers you from reality into a real-life dream. In the rainy season, cool water cascades from a jungle river into a big pool lined with smooth rocks and tropical plants and flowers.

In the dry season, it’s more of a trickle. Colourful butterflies flit over the surface of the water and rest on the sandy shore. The pool is deep enough to swim in and if you’re feeling brave, you can jump in from the rope swing.
EXPLORE THE FOREST TRAIL

The island’s forest grows dense with palm trees and coconuts regularly drop with a satisfying thump.

The forest trails behind Ao Tapao Beach make for a great morning run spot, or just a great way to relax in the chair by the beach during the day.

BIKE AROUND THE ISLAND

Explore the small back roads by motorbike which pass through dense jungle and lead out onto small deserted beaches.

Motorbikes can be hired from your resort at about 300 THB (USD 10) per day plus fuel costs.
